The initial conversation between you and your personal branding photographer must begin with goal-setting. Whether on the phone, by email, or video conferencing, tell the photographer what you’re trying to achieve – the vision? Together you can brainstorm a creative strategy – ideas on what the right approach might be: location, props, colors, wardrobe, makeup, poses, expressions, etc.  Once an outline of a photo session has emerged, decide on the timeline, budget, and deliverables – what you’re expecting, when you’ll get, and how much it will cost. Post-processing

Some professional photographers go a step further by smoothing the skin and removing blemishes – typically referred to as touch-ups. The ultimate artistic post-processing is referred to as professional retouching – this included a broad range of effects including digital makeup, digital weight loss, removing double chins, whitening teeth, eye catch lights, removing wrinkles from clothing, and the list goes on and on.
