Most sessions run 30 to 60 minutes. That’s enough time to shoot multiple outfits, try 2–3 background colors, and capture a range of expressions — professional and approachable, serious and warm. You’ll leave with real options, not a single usable frame.

Bring 2–3 outfits. Solid colors photograph best — navy, burgundy, forest green, teal, and white all work well in the studio. Avoid:

• Busy patterns and thin stripes (cause moiré in digital images)
• Sheer or see-through fabrics (show under flash)
• Logos or text (distracts from your face)
• Necklaces that touch the neckline

Natural retouching only. I remove temporary blemishes and soften under-eye shadows. I do not remove the wrinkles, laugh lines, or features that make you look like yourself — because the goal is the best version of you, not a different person entirely.

Yes — posing, lighting angle, and expression coaching are all tailored. Men typically benefit from slightly more dramatic lighting and a direct gaze. Women often look best with softer light and a slight shoulder turn. I adjust the approach by profession as well — a therapist and a litigator both want to look trustworthy, but the energy is different.
