As a senior, you are about to step out into the world, off to college or off to a great job. You have never been so free or looked better. Have you ever wanted to look or feel like a model? I have worked with MANY models and actresses, celebrities climbing the ladder. I know how to make YOU look and feel like that too! Let's capture that energy, that excitement, that beauty together n a beautiful senior picture! Have a special talent you would like to capture? A sport? Musical. dance or theater talent? A particular fashion-sense you would like to show off? Are you great at makeup or hair or perhaps you would like to be pampered with a professional makeup artist and hair stylist? (I know some great ones that I refer out.) I would love to meet you and plan a great senior portrait session!
Senior Session Tips
Hey there senior! I'm so excited to work with you and capture this special time in your life. Here are a few session tips to make sure our session is as fun and successful as possible:
Start planning your school senior photo outfit early. Choose something that makes you feel confident and comfortable. Bright solid colors work really well. If outdoors make sure the colors “pop” and are contrasty against greenery. Will this photo be used as your student photo in your yearbook?
Bring a variety of outfits to switch things up and get different looks for your school pictures. Coordinate with the props you might bring for color and style.
Get a good night's sleep the night before so you look refreshed and ready to rock this photoshoot to avoid red-eye and undereye circles.
Make sure your hair and makeup are on point. You'll look great and feel even better.
Let's choose the perfect location for your shoot. Do you prefer nature, urban, or something more classic or in studio?
Bring any props that you would like to include in your photos, like a guitar, for a musician portrait or your favorite sports team jersey. Tell a story about your life.
Be open to trying new poses and expressions, I'll guide you through it and together we'll create beautiful memories.
Please be on time or let me know if you'll be running late. We have a lot to capture and I want to make sure we have enough time.
And most importantly, be yourself and have fun! This is a special time in your life and I want to make sure it's captured in the best way possible.
Senior Pictures Design Session
To create your senior picture(s), I am happy to schedule an in-person, or telephone senior picture design session to create a beautiful portrait of you. Best of all I want to hear YOUR ideas. We will put our heads together and discuss:
When you would like to schedule your portrait.
Location - In-studio, outdoors, at a particular location (i.e. beach or park?)
Color scheme of the portrait.
Your fashion ideas, Hair, Nails (do you need a makeup artist or hair stylist?)
Meaningful props (musical instrument, sports, hats, jewelry etc.)
Color or Black & White (or both, colorized?)
Discuss the final products you would like. (Wall art, album, cards, prints, wallets)
