LA Headshot Photography and creating art has been my passion since I was a teen. Establishing my portrait studio and becoming a professional photographer and Master Retouch Artist in Agoura Hills allowed that dream to become reality. Beginning as high school yearbook photographer in New York, my friends were convinced that the camera strap grew from the back of my neck!
Why do I do this? Because I LOVE to make people look and feel their best. Connecting with people is paramount and what drives me to wake up every morning to create…because I know I can help YOU leave excited about how you look and feel from your photo shoots! Photography Education
I pursued my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from both Syracuse University and Rochester Institute of Technology, graduating cum laude from Syracuse.
I've been perfecting my craft ever since. Upon relocating to California, I opened my commercial headshot photography and portrait studio in 2007. I've enjoyed teaching the art of studio lighting, Photoshop techniques and posing & portraiture in workshops in northern California and finally relocating to the Los Angeles area.
Being a Los Angeles headshot photographer is a vital part of my career. As an LA photographer, women’s photography has become important to me as the field is dominated by men, many women feel more comfortable being photographed by a woman on location and in the studio.

How My Family Influenced How I became an LA Female Headshot Photographer
I'm happily married and the proud mother of two wonderful daughters who both graduated universities. They entered college early entrance at age 13 and 15, and skipped high school altogether (part of an over-achieving family!) <proud mommy plug> My little one, was selected by

earned her PhD at Yale University in Electrical Engineering
focusing on saving our planet by developing new solar technologies for outer space. Imagine that, the first doctor in the family! As a professional photographer & master retouch artist, I'm the creative one in the family, just think I raised two scientists! I spent many years volunteering as a mentor and guide to the Davidson Young Scholars program, helping young STEM students, particularly young girls with their early entrance pursuits. I am Photoshop trainer online, supporting these talented young people.
